Ronin, a blockchain network designed for game developers and players, has reached a significant milestone with a record-breaking 1.2 million daily active unique wallets (DAUWs) this year. The network is rapidly becoming the primary distribution platform for Web3 games, with Sky Mavis, the developer of Axie, launching the Ronin network to accommodate the explosive growth of the game and millions of users in 2021
This new record surpasses the previous achievement in November 2021 when Axie Infinity garnered massive attention with a peak of 1.1 million DAUWs.
Top Games on the Ronin Network
The data, released by Nansen, a crypto investor insight and team platform, indicates that engagement is spread across multiple games on the Ronin network. Pixels led the pack, hitting an all-time high of 619,000 DAUWs on March 19th. Its Daily Active Users (DAU) surged from 5,000 to 730,000 after migrating from Polygon.
Other contributing games include Apeiron, with approximately 50,000 DAUWs due to its recent token event, and Axie Infinity: Origins, which maintained a consistent level of 15,000 DAUWs.
Ronin currently claims to be the leading platform for Web3 game distribution, employing a strategy that integrates games as a gateway into Web3. Subsequently, Ronin introduces more complex, higher LTV applications, enabling seamless content and social interactions.
According to Token Terminal, a comprehensive on-chain data platform, Ronin is the top Layer 1 Blockchain regarding user growth in the past 90 days. The platform leads with a remarkable 715.80% increase, ahead of its closest competitors: Solana (528.90%) and TON (438.40%).
The Ronin Network has onboarded multiple games following its decision to expand its gaming landscape for third-party developers to launch their games. The platform can process 100,000 transactions per second and utilizes a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS).
The gaming network has entered partnership deals with developers like Directive Games, Bali Games, and Tribes Studio, introducing top titles such as The Machines Arena, Axie Champions, and Tribesters: Island of Solas.
Coinbase List $RON/$RONIN Days After Binance
Meanwhile, Ronin has announced the listing of $RON/$RONIN on the prestigious crypto exchange, Coinbase. In February, Binance listed the Ronin token at $0.40 but trades at $3.870986 at press time.
