Metaverse basketball game, Rumble Kong League has announced a significant developmental milestone as its partners with Hermit Crab Studios. This announcement is part of RKL’s commitment to delivering the best sports gaming experience. In October 2021, RKL signed a partnership deal with iLogos Game Studios, an external development partner of top AAA game publishers like Supercell, EA, Ubisoft, and Disney amongst others.
The RKL team was forced to change their partnering game studio after conducting a series of evaluations, feedback, and assessment in line with their expected progress and goals. After this routine, the team discovered how challenges like talent, time management, and development milestones have affected the game’s progress, deadlines, and the eventual stretching of timescales. The transition to Hermit Crab will mark the beginning of a new chapter for the Rumble Kong League birthing into a gush of direct immersive gameplay, innovation, and an enriching basketball experience.
Hermit Crab Studios is set to usher in a rare form of talent and experience necessary to take RKL to the next level. The studio will complete the next milestones which include direct player control, overall game improvements, and expanded immersive experiences. It would also be responsible for RKL’s first implementation on a mobile client.
