Next-gen metaverse game, Star Atlas has introduced DAO Proposals as it progresses towards creating the most decentralized player-owned metaverse economy ever. The introduction of the DAO Proposals will allow players to view, comment, and vote on the very first POLIS Improvement Proposal (PIP-1).
The PIP-1 addresses three major DAO operations: Blockchain Supremacy Clause, SA Constitution, and Foundation. The Blockchain Supremacy Clause defines the DAO as an autonomous operation on the Solana network. While SA Constitution explains the governance framework, SA Foundation ratifies Star Atlas DAO.
Michael Wagner, the Co-founder of Star Atlas and CEO of ATMTA said: “We are excited to see PIP-1 voted on by the Star Atlas community’s DAO participants. This initial proposal is crucial for establishing the ground rules of a self-governing polity.”
The program unwraps in four phases:

Declaration: This involves the publication of a PIP and its submission to the Star Atlas DAO.

Deliberation: Members of the Star Atlas DAO submit comments and conduct non-binding Public Interest Voting, with at least one live debate session scheduled.

Decision: The proposed PIP launches, gives room for on-chain voting.

Democratic Convergence: PIP is ratified, creating an avenue for additional PIPs, including community ideation.
Who Can Participate in Star Atlas DAO Proposals?
Star Atlas POLIS Improvement Proposal invites all players who have locked POLIS tokens in the POLIS Locker Electorate System. The proposal beckons them to join the governance process and experience the true definition of self-sovereign gaming and community ownership in the Star Atlas ecosystem.
Using the PIP approach, guilds can become Decentralized Autonomous Corporations (DACs) through community ownership. The Star Atlas metaverse allows players to own in-game assets on the Solana blockchain. Interested players are advised to visit the Star Atlas DAO website and play an active role in shaping the Star Atlas metaverse in preparation for a more refined future for Web3 gaming and governance.
