ZTX, a virtual world that empowers creators and communities, has officially announced the release of its second Playtest. Players can download the new game version from the ZTX website for their PC or Mac devices. They can then proceed to create ZTX accounts, which are essentially Web3 wallets managed by the user’s preferred social recovery keys. The Playtest 2 will run for a week, starting from October 7 to 14.
ZTX Playtest 2
In contrast to the first Playtest, which focused on the Decorator Mode, providing players with an unlimited number of placeables in their inventory, Playtest 2 will require players to craft placeables at the Fusion Forge. However, crafting necessitates the collection of resources. There are two types of resources: organics and minerals. Organics consist of plants and trees that can be planted and harvested in your orchard, while minerals include metals, ores, and industrial resources that players can mine using the Mineral Extractor.
During Playtest 2, Land and Home will not come pre-decorated with any assets, nor will there be any pre-built assets. The team has also introduced new player tutorials for harvesting, extracting, trading, and Gold. Gold serves as an in-game currency that can be used to purchase minerals and organics, as well as pay for crafting. Trading will initially occur between players and the game, with plans for player-to-player trading in the future.
Players have full control over their assets, whether they are newly crafted or purchased. ZTX has enhanced the Avatar Creator experience, allowing testers to edit or recreate their existing avatars and save their creations before exploring their land.
