Zoids Wild Arena, a trading card game (TCG), has announced its migration to Axie’s Ronin blockchain from Polygon, following the successful transition of Pixels. The TCG seeks to leverage the supportive environment offered by the blockchain developed by Sky Mavis. ZOIDS, an iconic franchise, was established in 1983 by Takara Tomy.
This migration will enable the TCG, developed by ACT Games, to offer players the ability to build a 30-card deck, engage in turn-based PvP card battles with other Commanders, and trade cards on the Mavis Market—a marketplace platform for trading digital assets.
Viggo Chung, Business Development Lead at ACT Games, stated, “Our collaboration with Sky Mavis isn’t merely about the migration; it’s a profound partnership that merges their Web3 expertise with our skill in creating standalone IP-based titles.”
Schedule for Zoids Wild Arena’s Migration
Details concerning the migration schedule for Zoids Wild Arena will be more extensively shared by Ronin on November 8. Since its inception in 2021 with the launch of Axie Infinity, Ronin has increasingly become a popular blockchain platform for web3 games.
In the wake of the migration announcement, Yeesha Games—a platform that bridges traditional gaming with the web3 space—has shown interest in bringing Zoids Wild Arena to its user base.
Zoids Wild Arena is currently available for Android devices via the Google Play Store and for PC through its official website.
