This involves transitioning from an Avalanche subnet to a multi-chain approach using Immutable zkEVM. The aim is to transform Sphere into a versatile marketplace catering to gamers in both the Immutable and Polygon ecosystems, potentially pioneering cross-ecosystem gaming interactions.
This significant development highlights Beam’s ambition to revolutionize the gaming industry through blockchain technology. Beam strives to be a chain-agnostic network, serving as a central hub for integrating blockchain into games and promoting the adoption of web3 gaming. The integration of Immutable’s zkEVM, powered by Polygon, is set to enable instant settlements and significantly reduce fees on the innovative Sphere platform, where gamers can effortlessly trade assets backed by various blockchains.
