Parallel, a sci-fi trading card game, recently obtained approval from the Epic Games Store after submitting an onboarding application in anticipation of its upcoming Open Beta. However, the TCG has yet to provide a comprehensive breakdown of the events scheduled for the Open Beta.
Exclusively available on Windows PC, the game is accessible only to selected players. Access requires players to create an account and gain approval. Beta access grants players the chance to explore the latest game build. Simultaneously, Parallel undertakes periodic maintenance routines to maintain its backend while gearing up for upcoming features and updates.
Parallel Open Beta
Players embarking on the Beta tour must have at least one of the three Paragons unlocked for each Parallel. The game introduces Rookie Mode, where players aim to achieve wins with each Parallel. For the first 5 wins with each Parallel, players receive various rewards, structured as follows: a Paragon and Common Apparition Pack, Paragon, Apparition Starter Deck & Quickplay Unlock, Common Apparition Pack, and finally, a Legendary Apparition Card. Additionally, a player achieving 25 wins across 5 Parallel Factions will receive an extra 5 Apparition Packs.
In anticipation of the Open Beta, Parallel has unveiled cosmetic items in both the in-game and web shops. Players are encouraged to visit the shop for limited-time game items, comics, and apparel.
Regarding its approval on the Epic Games Store, Parallel has pledged to promptly launch its onboarding page. The TCG also released a Google form for players to apply for their Parallel Referral Links, offering incentives for successful referrals.
