Ronen Cars is the latest project from Ronen Mining Network, known for fast-launching play-to-earn and mining-style games on the Ronin Network. If you’ve played Plants vs Ronke or held a miner in RonenCoin, you already know the model: NFT-powered assets that generate tokens through simple, repeatable gameplay. This time, it’s all about racing.
If you’re new to Ronin, start with our Ronin Wallet guide to create and fund your wallet. Once it’s ready, follow this guide to learn how to fund your Ronin wallet so you’re ready to mint and race.
Here’s everything we know so far, from NFT rarities to how you’ll earn $RCAR when the game launches.
What Is Ronen Cars?
Ronen Cars is a browser-based blockchain racing game built on the Ronin Network. Like classic CryptoCars, you’ll own NFT cars that race daily to earn $RCAR, the game’s native token. Every car is a unique NFT with different stats, rarity, and performance potential.
Gameplay will be simple: pick a car, enter it into a race, and based on its performance, earn tokens. Higher-tier cars can race more often or win more consistently.
How Racing Works
According to the whitepaper, here’s the basic gameplay loop:
- Own a car NFT: There will be 8,888 total cars minted across five rarity tiers (Common to Legendary).
- Race your car daily: Each car has a cooldown and durability system. Higher rarities get more entries per day.
- Earn $RCAR tokens: Token payouts are based on race results and your car’s stats.
Each car will start with base stats like Speed, Power, Drift, Fuel Efficiency, and Luck—all of which influence your race outcome.
Rarity and Stats
Rarity impacts just about everything: how often your car can race, how durable it is, and how much you can earn.
Rarity | Speed | Power | Drift | Luck | Fuel Cap | Efficiency | Supply |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Common | 10–30 | 10–30 | 10–30 | 1–2 | 80 | 1/day | 4,622 |
Uncommon | 20–40 | 20–40 | 20–40 | 2–3 | 90 | 1/day | 2,312 |
Rare | 40–60 | 40–60 | 40–60 | 4–6 | 90 | 2/day | 1,333 |
Epic | 50–70 | 50–70 | 50–70 | 5–7 | 100 | 2/day | 577 |
Legendary | 70–90 | 70–90 | 70–90 | 7–9 | 120 | 3/day | 44 |
You’ll be able to upgrade cars to improve performance, with level caps initially set to 5.
Fuel, Durability, and Maintenance
Cars will need regular care to stay competitive:
- Fuel: Each race consumes energy. Use Fuel items to refill.
- Durability: Cars take damage and can break down. Use Repair Kits to keep them running.
- Nitro & Shields: Optional items that boost winning chances or reduce wear in races.
All items will be available via the in-game shop and likely purchasable with $RCAR.
How To Earn $RCAR
Racing in Ronen Cars is about resource management. Every time you enter a race, your car consumes Fuel and takes a hit to Durability. Run out of either, and you won’t be able to race until you refuel or repair.
To stay on the track, players need to spend $RCAR tokens on maintenance:
- Fuel costs 200 $RCAR to refill and is used at a rate of 10 per race.
- Durability drops by 5 per race and can be fully restored with a Repair Kit for 100 $RCAR.
If either resource hits zero, the car becomes ineligible to race.
Race Payouts
Each race offers fixed $RCAR token rewards based on how you place:
- 1st Place – 75 $RCAR
- 2nd Place – 45 $RCAR
- 3rd Place – 25 $RCAR
- 4th Place – 10 $RCAR
These reward amounts are the same no matter your car’s rarity. However, higher-tier cars tend to stretch your $RCAR further—they use fuel more efficiently, last longer between repairs, and in some cases, can even race more than once per day.
The Loop at Glance
- Race & Win: The better your car performs, the more you earn.
- Play Daily: The game favors consistent daily racing and upgrades.
- Use Items Wisely: Investing in boosts can improve rewards.
- Upgrade Your Cars: Leveling up gives you better odds and more races per day.
Later, the team plans to introduce PvP tournaments, car merging, land NFTs (Ronke Cities), and a weather system to add even more depth to the racing loop.
Ronen Cars Mint Details and Initial Supply Breakdown
The initial mint for Ronen Cars will feature a total of 8,888 car NFTs. Pricing is set at 15 RON for guaranteed or first-come-first-served access, while the public sale will list NFTs at 20 RON. All cars will be unrevealed at launch, meaning traits and rarities will be assigned randomly post-mint. According to the official whitepaper, mint revenue will be distributed with 70% going toward the $RCAR/RON liquidity pool, 20% earmarked for game development, and 10% allocated to support the broader Ronen ecosystem.
About Ronen Mining Network
Ronen is building an ecosystem of on-chain games that merge idle mechanics with tokenized rewards. Previous titles like RonenCoin and Plants vs Ronke focus on token farming and resource strategy. Ronen Cars expands that formula into the racing genre, giving players a new way to earn from their NFTs—this time at high speed.
