WAX has released two new software development kits aimed at making mobile Web3 games easier to build. The launch includes a React Native SDK and a Unity SDK, both designed to work with the WAX Cloud Wallet mobile app on iOS and Android.
These SDKs allow developers to integrate blockchain features like wallets, transactions, and authentication into mobile apps without custom smart contract work. React Native supports both direct and WebSocket modes, while Unity is currently WebSocket only.
WAX says the tools will help bring more polished mobile experiences to Web3, making it easier for players to access tokens and NFTs on their phones. Mobile already accounts for half of all gaming revenue worldwide, and the company sees it as a key path to wider adoption.
The SDKs are now available on WAX’s developer hub.
