Quick Take
- Sunflower Land confirms Project II, a new $FLOWER-based browser game launching in 2026
- Farming MMO stays active with its own 2025 roadmap of seasonal updates and features
- Studio continues hiring while keeping independence from venture funding
Sunflower Land is moving beyond its farming roots. The Web3 game, known for building in public and attracting hundreds of thousands of players to its community-driven MMO, confirmed a new project under the working title Project II. The game is described as a browser-based clicker built around trading and player ownership, with a launch targeted for 2026.
The studio said Project II will be developed with community input from the start, continuing the transparent approach that has defined Sunflower Land since its early days. Players will weigh in on mechanics and token design later this year, when formal discussions around tokenomics are set to begin.

At the center of both games is $FLOWER, the ecosystem’s token that replaced the original SFL earlier in 2025. Project II will extend its use into NFT drops, unlockable content, and gameplay advantages. Sunflower Land will remain the flagship, generating $FLOWER through farming and acting as the foundation for the broader economy.
The live game is still on its own path of expansion. Updates planned for 2025 include new features such as pets, swamps, insects, fishing, and a revamp of the faction system. Seasonal story chapters are also on the way, with the upcoming pet system positioned as a major driver of token use inside the MMO.
Project II marks the studio’s first step toward building a multi-title ecosystem around $FLOWER. With one game deepening its MMO framework and another pushing into browser-first trading mechanics, Sunflower Land is shaping a connected Web3 gaming network while staying close to its community-led origins.
