Player Activity Climbs Across the Platform
HYTOPIA recorded a steep rise in player engagement over the past three months, according to figures shared by ArkDev, co founder of the platform. Daily active users increased from roughly 2,000 to more than 40,000, representing a 1,900 percent increase. Monthly active users grew from 30,000 to 500,000 over the same period.
Mobile usage followed a similar pattern. Mobile monthly active users climbed from 6,000 to 400,000, an increase of more than 6,500 percent. Total minutes played rose from 2 million to 19 million, while daily minutes played expanded from 30,000 to more than 700,000. Total games played increased from 386,000 to 4.5 million.
On December 23, HYTOPIA, the HYBUX powered platform, reported 39,000 active players across the platform.
Creators and Studios Move In
HYTOPIA operates with an 85 percent creator revenue share, positioning the platform as a high payout environment for developers building free to play and monetized experiences. The platform hosts a growing library of free games and tools designed to reduce friction for new creators entering Web3 gaming.

Developer interest includes studios with established histories in large scale online games. Retro Shrimp, a long time Roblox development team, is currently building Hyper Ball Arena on HYTOPIA. The studio previously developed Skate Park, DOG, and Ronald, titles that collectively reached hundreds of millions of plays on Roblox.
From NFT Worlds to an Independent Platform
HYTOPIA originated from NFT Worlds after Minecraft banned blockchain based servers in 2022. The team shifted toward building an independent game engine and distribution platform without reliance on Microsoft infrastructure.
The platform is built in Rust and supports high performance networking, cross platform deployment, and integrated Web3 infrastructure. Its SDK and creator dashboard are live, with support for browser, mobile, and desktop launches and built in monetization. HYTOPIA also includes a zero code development loop powered by AI tools.
Momentum Builds Into December
Earlier in December, HYTOPIA reported approximately 412,000 unique players in November, marking a 400 percent increase from October. The growth followed the release of a desktop World Editor, SDK upgrades, and several new game launches. The platform also surpassed 500,000 mobile downloads earlier in the month.
