Web3 card-based action X RTS game, Apeiron has rolled out Apostle Awakening, the second edition of its game. This Season 2 features updates and improvements made from previously organized sessions: Apeiron Guild Wars: Skydream Scramble Season 1 and the Letrina Cup. As earlier scheduled, the pre-launch campaign for Season 2 began in mid-May. The pre-launch campaign was held in collaboration with Primeval holders, Strategic partners, and KOLs testing.
Apeiron S2: Apostle Awakening — Dates and Game Access
In line with the schedules, Apeiron S2: Apostle Awakening runs from June 5-11, 2023, giving players a fresh start to compete to win amazing prizes. The Polygon-based game can be accessed via a Windows PC or Mac OS using a compatible wallet or email address as an ID.
Apeiron Dood Apostles
In Apeiron S2 Apostle Awakening, players will get the opportunity to turn the immersive gameplay into real rewards by minting a Dood Apostle. Dood Apostles are characters that make up a player’s adventuring party as the journey into the dungeon progresses. These creatures offer different skills depending on their class. There are six classes currently available: Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Guardian, and Mage. In the near future, Apeiron will add six additional classes namely Berserker, Dragoon, Summoner, Shaman, Bard, and Knight.
The game allows players to randomly choose Apostles from a pool of 8, with each Apostle having 3 random class skills. S2 gives players the opportunity to upgrade those skills to create an extremely powerful Apostle. However, a skill can only be upgraded 5 times by merging an Apostle with the same skill to the chosen Apostle.
How To Get Apeiron Apostles With High IV
Apeiron has introduced an Individual Variable (IV) for Apostles, which ranges from 1 to 100. An Apostle’s IV reflects stats like Health, Attack, Defense, etc. Invariably, the higher the IV, the better the Apostle’s stats. During gameplay, Apostles appear randomly as a player penetrates the dark dungeon. Every player has one Default Reserve Slot for Apostle saving after each game. At the end of the season, an Apostle with a high IV from the Reserve Slot could be minted into an NFT. A player can either sell or keep the asset. In this Season, only Apostles from the Priest, Hunter, and Warrior classes can be minted.
Planet Holders will automatically get additional Reserve Slots while non-holders can increase slots using Animus. However, a player can only have a maximum of 6 Reserve Slots and mint a max of 3 Apostles. The first mint, second mint, and third mint of an Apostle cost 0.02wETH, 0.05wETH, and 0.1wETH (excluding gas fees).
Players can secure two free mints by collecting two non-transferable collectibles during gameplay: S2 Dood Halo and S2 Doodelic Wings. Season 2 has no game time restrictions but players can engage in a 1-hour challenge called “Booty Time”. During this period, players can collect S2 Dood Halo, get an extra game life, and capture more Apostles with higher IVs. The first Booty Time experience gives a player 3-hours of game time,
A player can also get Apostles by purchasing an Origins Collection Apostle (comes with a unique outfit, fixed IV value of 88, and random sets of skills). An Origins Collection can be purchased on OpenSeas to mint an Apostle at the end of S2. Players can also win Golden Apostle tickets to mint an Apostle (with a range of 85-100 IV) by topping S2 Leaderboards and community events.
Apeiron BattlePass
Players can burn Lunar and Solar Fragment NFTs to get an Apeiron Lunisolar Battlepass. Lunar and Solar Fragment NFTs can be obtained through Discord, Apeiron events, or purchased from OpenSea. Only Battlepass holders will gain Animus in Season 2. Either Battlepass or Animus can be used to increase Apostle Reserve Slots, an extra “Booty Hour” or extra lives.
