Animoca Brands has disclosed the release date for the inaugural Formula E licensed blockchain game named High Voltage. High Voltage is scheduled for launch on October 19, 2023, at 11:00 AM UTC, and it will be accessible through the official game website.
Crates Sales
Gamers interested in securing a spot on the Allowlist for exclusive digital collectibles, including drivers and cars from their preferred Formula E team at a reduced rate, can submit a form starting from October 17, 2023, at 7:00 AM UTC. The Allowlist comprises three tiers: Allowlist 1, Allowlist 2, and Allowlist 3, priced at $119, $129, and $139, respectively. 220, 3,025, and 2,475 crates will be available in Allowlist 1, 2, and 3, respectively. In the Open Sale, 3,410 crates will be available, each priced at $149. Unsold crates in Allowlist 1 and 2 will be removed, while the remaining inventory in Allowlist 3 will be made available in the Open Sale.
The Formula E: High Voltage crate sales will commence on October 18, at 7:00 AM UTC, approximately 24 hours before the official game launch. These crates will contain cars, drivers, and other Formula E collectibles.
Formula E: High Voltage Tournaments
Gameplay for Formula E: High Voltage will commence with a 4-week racing tournament in Battle Mode. This tournament boasts a prize pool exceeding 1 million REVV, supplemented by an additional 1.5 million REVV in bonuses. Players will have the opportunity to earn a share of these rewards through various activities during the tournament.
Compared to the previously established one-hour battle duration, each battle will now last for 8 hours. There will be three concurrent battles, each with 11 racing spots. To enter a battle and compete for glory and rewards, players will need 25 REVV tokens.
Players will receive REVV tokens as rewards for winning battles and accumulating points required to climb the leaderboard. In the first week of the tournament, the top 20 players will share a reward of 300,600 REVV tokens, followed by 200,400 tokens in the subsequent weeks. Notably, the best player overall in the tournament will be awarded 100,000 REVV tokens.
