Army of Fortune, popularly known as AOFverse, an upcoming web3 gaming project, has secured $3M from its recently concluded seed funding round led by Animoca Brand. Prior to this funding round, the game received grant funding from the Arbitrum Foundation.
The seed round will augment the studio’s expansion plans and solidify its position as a key player in the web3 mobile gaming industry. Besides Animoca Brand, other venture capitalists and investors include Liquid X Ventures, Chainridge VC, Ticker Capital, Flying Falcon, and BSCN Gaming Ventures.
The gaming platform will not only introduce gaming features but also create deep social connections via gaming. AOFverse believes these are the first steps to massive adoption of web3 technology. Meanwhile, the game studio will unveil the global version of its PvP game, Army of Tactics. Having unveiled the soft launch in October 2023, the game has been downloaded over a million times.
Finally, AOFverse primarily hopes to use this funding to execute full throttle on their roadmap initiatives, aiming to become the go-to web3 mobile gaming ecosystem.
