Ascend the End’s First Major Tournament Starts June 27
Ascend the End is bringing its first large-scale PvPvE tournament online this weekend with a $10,000 prize pool and a 48-hour leaderboard format. The PlaySafe, PlayHard event runs from June 27 at 6PM CET to June 29 at 6PM CET, and offers players the chance to earn both USDT and in-game HONOR tokens based on their best single run across two arenas.
Developed as a title with AI-powered gameplay and blockchain integration, Ascend the End combines shooter mechanics with extraction survival and on-chain progression. This event also marks the game’s first wide implementation of PlaySafe ID, a KYC-backed anti-cheat system that bans repeat offenders without retaining private data.
How It Works: PvPvE, Scores, and Stages
Players will compete across two stages: the Marketplace Arena and the Fort-Landing Arena. Each match is scored based on extractions, kills, completed objectives, survival time, and combo execution. Only the highest-scoring run from each player per stage is counted toward rewards.
To unlock access to Stage 2, players must first earn a Special Coordination Pass by ranking well in Stage 1. Rewards for Stage 1 range from $160 for first place to $10 for those placing 21st through 30th, with corresponding HONOR token payouts. Stage 2 increases the stakes, offering $320 for the top position and scaling down to $20 for the lower reward tier.
All rewards are distributed in both USDT and HONOR, the game’s native win-to-earn token, which powers various on-chain progression and in-game systems within the Ascend the End ecosystem.
Streamers and KOLs Get Bonus Paths to Earn
In addition to gameplay rewards, Ascend is collaborating with StreamVerse for a creator challenge. Streamers who broadcast their tournament runs using StreamVerse overlays are entered into a donation-based prize system:
- If donations across all creators hit $1,000, a $1,000 bonus goes to the top donor recipient
- If donations are under $1,000, StreamVerse will double each creator’s personal donation total
A separate KOL leaderboard offers more rewards based on tournament promo reach. Top-performing social media campaigns by verified creators are rewarded based on impressions and engagement, with up to $70 in USDT and 35,000 HONOR per winner.
How to Join the Tournament
Players must complete four steps to enter:
- Register for the kickoff via Lu.ma
- Create a player profile at the Ascend Universe Hub
- Get a game access code via Telegram or referral link
- Download the game (pre-tournament optional)
Game servers will open at tournament start, and players can attempt multiple runs. Only the best score counts for each arena.
