Quick Take
- Avalanche Battle Pass Season 1 introduces cross-game quests with NFT and token rewards
- Minting is available through Magic Eden; quests are hosted via Playfull
- Rewards include $AVAX, leaderboard rankings, and exclusive Web3 game perks
Avalanche’s gaming ecosystem has officially launched its first Battle Pass, bringing a unified quest and reward system across multiple Web3 titles. Season 1 of the Avalanche Battle Pass is now live and free to mint via Magic Eden, with progression tracked on the Playfull platform.
Holders of the pass can connect a wallet, register on Playfull, and start completing game-specific missions. These tasks span Avalanche-native games including Off The Grid, Spellborne, and others, with more titles set to rotate in throughout the season. As users progress, they earn leaderboard points, NFT rewards, and $AVAX token payouts, depending on rank and engagement.
How to Get the Avalanche Battle Pass
Accessing the Avalanche Battle Pass is designed to be low-friction and requires only a few steps:
- Mint the free Battle Pass NFT from Magic Eden. No purchase is required beyond standard gas fees.
- Create a Playfull account and link your Avalanche-compatible wallet. If you still need one, learn how to setup your AVAX wallet here.
- Once registered, select available quests for games like Off The Grid and Spellborne.
- Play, complete missions, and track progress through Playfull’s dashboard.
- As you earn points, climb the leaderboard and unlock token rewards, NFTs, and other in-game perks.
Each quest includes onboarding instructions, so prior gameplay experience isn’t necessary. Players are rewarded based on activity and placement on the seasonal leaderboard. More games and missions will continue to roll out over the next few weeks.
Cross-Game Integration via Playfull and Magic Eden
The Avalanche Battle Pass is designed to offer a seamless way for players to explore the network’s Web3 games while being rewarded for their activity. Minting the pass begins on Magic Eden, after which players are funneled to Playfull for onboarding. No prior experience with the listed games is required, and the platform handles wallet syncing, mission tracking, and reward distribution.
The pass supports multiple game genres and formats. In Off The Grid, for instance, Battle Pass integration coincides with a major content drop that introduced two new deathmatch maps, Stork City and OCIO, as well as the Red Ant Battle Pass update. OTG players can now complete Avalanche-linked quests while engaging in ranked matches and exploring Cyberlancer traversal kits. A new anti-cheat system has also gone live, further tightening competitive standards.
Spellborne, another flagship Avalanche title, has also tied in its reward systems. Players can earn $BORNE tokens via seasonal battle pass items, PvE loot, and monster trading—all of which align with tasks listed on the Avalanche Battle Pass. The game’s recent push toward tokenization includes guild competitions, on-chain tournaments, and crafting loops that feed into both in-game and AVAX-driven economies.
The Avalanche Battle Pass will remain open through Season 1, with rewards distributed based on leaderboard performance and completed missions. Updates are issued regularly as new games join the pool, and participation remains free beyond gas fees. The goal, according to Ava Labs and Playfull, is to create a unified system that connects siloed player bases and incentivizes consistent engagement across Avalanche’s broader gaming stack.
More games are expected to join Season 1’s rotation before the end of June.
