Axie Infinity Homeland Beta is live, offering an expansion to their gaming universe focused on land-based gameplay. In this new addition, players will have the opportunity to build settlements on the planet Lunacia.
Launch of Land Delegation Marketplace
The Homeland Beta introduces the Land Delegation Marketplace. This feature, rooted in the early system of Land Delegation established last June, allows Landowners to grant Stewards access to unused plots. This system aims to improve game accessibility and widen its player base. The marketplace enables Landowners to set up delegation contracts, where they can specify terms like AXS reward splits, delegation time periods, termination clauses, and plot rights.
Integration of NFT Axies in Homeland
Another key update is the integration of NFT Axies into Homeland. Players can now invite their NFT Axies to their Land Plot in a 3D environment and manage them using the Axie Management Panel. This feature represents a move towards deeper integration of NFT Axies in the game, with goals to increase land-related axie sales and the number of land plots actively utilizing Axies.
Material Quality and the Alchemy Building
The Beta also introduces a new concept of Material Quality, affecting the chances of producing and crafting higher-quality items. The Alchemy Building is a new addition where players can alter the quality of materials, offering a strategic element to resource management.
Updated AXS Rewards Loop
The update includes a revision of the AXS Reward Loop, introducing new in-game currencies like Ancient Coins and Sapidae Coin. These currencies, earned through various gameplay actions, aim to diversify the game’s reward system and support different play styles.
