Quick Take
- Xmas in July brings back 2024 Christmas gear with updated crafting mechanics
- 1.2 million $BIGTIME tokens equal roughly $59,400 in rewards at current prices
- All event recipes available from day one, with flexible options for crafting
Christmas returns to Big Time, even if it’s July. The game’s limited-time holiday event is now live, reviving the rare cosmetic items from last year’s Christmas drop—along with a major new crafting system and a leaderboard event tied to real token rewards.
Seasonal Snowflakes are back as the core event currency. They can be earned in-game or bought on the marketplace and are used to craft festive weapons and decorations. They also contribute to leaderboard progress.
At the end of the four-week event, the top 200 players will split a pool of 1.2 million $BIGTIME tokens. At current prices, with $BIGTIME trading around $0.0495, the total prize value sits near $59,400. It’s one of the largest event-based distributions in the game so far.
Unlike past events, all crafting recipes are available from the start. Players can choose to craft using $BIGTIME alone or combine it with Time Crystals, offering a more flexible path for collectors and grinders alike.
Each item has a limited number of total crafts. That cap means certain recipes may run out well before the event ends. Crafting limits will be tracked and updated as the event continues.
What Is Big Time?
Big Time is a free-to-play, multiplayer action RPG where players explore time-traveling dungeons and battle enemies across different eras. The game blends cooperative combat with Web3 mechanics, letting players collect and trade cosmetic NFTs and earn $BIGTIME tokens during gameplay. Players choose from classes like Chronomancer, Shadowblade, or Time Warrior and can upgrade gear, craft items, and build their own personal metaverse using SPACE NFTs. The economy centers on crafting, trading, and player-owned rewards, with a focus on both accessibility and long-term progression.
