Cambria, the onchain MMO known for its recent high-stakes Duel Arena mode and dynamic player economy, is expanding with the launch of Cambria Islands. The game recently reported over $5 million in player wagers across 135,000 duels and awarded $1.5 million in ETH during its Season 2 Gold Rush event. Now momentum is shifting from competitive combat to territorial control as players prepare to mint digital domains that will anchor the next phase of Cambria’s world.
The Cambria Islands collection consists of 3,333 NFTs minting on Ethereum this Thursday at a price of 0.1 ETH each. Each NFT represents a sovereign island within the Archipelagos, a new onchain region of the Cambria universe. Island ownership grants full control over land development, resource flow, and taxation across a network of sub-islands called islets. Holders can construct docks for transportation, refineries for materials processing, guild halls, treasuries, prisons, and trade ports. These structures act as the foundation of the island economy and enable all incoming players to interact, produce, and trade under the Island holder’s domain.

Islets are where the majority of the player base will live and operate. These plots will be purchased in-game by settlers using Cambria’s spend currency and can be upgraded with housing, farms, storage, crafting buildings, and transport links. As settlers farm, craft, and trade, a portion of their production is taxed and distributed back to the Island holder. Each Island can host an unlimited number of islets, allowing holders to scale earnings based on population and infrastructure efficiency.
Every Island NFT comes with a unique onchain land seed that determines its geographical layout, dungeon entrances, and biome traits. Islands also vary by size class, which affects port capacity, guild support, plot scaling, and renown weighting. Renown is Cambria’s prestige system that tracks a player’s long-term influence and will determine voting power and economic privileges across future governance events.
The islands will form the core of Cambria’s Archipelagos mode, a new resource generation loop running continuously between major seasonal events. Players will extract resources from islets, transport them to islands, process goods through refining halls, and export materials to the mainland for rewards. Revenue generated through this loop flows into Island treasuries through taxes, port fees, and trade tariffs.

Island holders will also receive eligibility for the upcoming Cambria token airdrop, making this mint a key entry point for players accumulating strategic assets ahead of the game’s next economic expansion. The collection will be bridgeable from Ethereum to Ronin following the mint, integrating directly with the game’s existing ecosystem on Ronin, where Duel Arena and Gold Rush are already live.
The Cambria Islands mint represents the first time players can own sovereign land in the Cambria universe, with onchain rights over infrastructure, population, and ongoing revenue streams from active gameplay.
