Quick Take
- Cambria kicks off the Ronin Trials with expanded PvP rewards and tournament competition
- Duel Arena already passed $2 million in wagers in its first days
- Creator Invitational adds a competitive bracket with 2,500 RON in prizes
Cambria has launched a new multi-week seasonal campaign called the Ronin Trials, just days after its Duel Arena mode surpassed $2 million in player wagers. The event brings a layered reward system and competitive structure to Ronin, continuing the game’s momentum after closing Season 2 with more than $1.5 million in play-to-earn ETH prizes and over 20,000 players.
The Trials are built around Cambria’s core PvP feature, Duel Arena. Players enter 1v1 matches and stake RON, with the winner taking the full wager. During the event, top Duel Arena participants can earn weekly RON rewards based on Mandrogan’s Favor, a running leaderboard system that tracks activity. The top 25 earners each week split a 1,000 RON pool, and any account reaching 10,000 Favor qualifies for an event-ending raffle that includes token prizes, NFTs, cosmetics, and rare collectibles.
The play-to-earn game has also introduced new passive and referral reward systems in parallel with Duel Arena. Core NFTs can be staked for shard yields, and referral codes now generate a percentage of friends’ in-game activity volume.
Creator Invitational and New Progression Systems
As part of the Trials, Cambria is hosting a Creator Invitational, where eight community creators will run qualifying brackets to crown one champion each. Those eight finalists will then compete for a 2,500 RON prize pool, culminating in a final match against Jihoz, co-founder of Ronin. The winner takes 2,000 RON, while other finalists earn descending prize amounts based on their placement.
A Ronin Battle Pass is also in development, with new seasonal rewards tied to in-game progression. Reward tiers will include cosmetics, Arena Tokens, unlocks for ranked duel chests, and Cambria-themed profile collectibles. Higher levels will unlock exclusive skins and raffle eligibility, adding longer-term incentives to continued play.
Cambria migrated to Ronin in 2024 and has since expanded with Gold Rush and Duel Arena as key modes. Duel Arena, launched in August 2025, has already seen strong traction with millions in token volume and a growing PvP economy. The Trials campaign builds on that activity, combining competitive incentives with progression systems aimed at retention and deeper ecosystem participation.
The Ronin Trials are now live across Cambria’s Duel Arena. Additional updates, rewards, and creator matches will roll out over the coming weeks.
