Season 3: The Depths Below Set To Open December 4
Cambria has confirmed the full rollout schedule for Season 3, titled The Depths Below, following a strong year of growth across its onchain MMO ecosystem. The announcement lays out three key dates: documentation release on November 26, an Early Access playtest running from November 28 to 30, and the official season launch on December 4.
The update arrives shortly after Cambria secured $2M in strategic funding from Sky Mavis and BITKRAFT Ventures, signaling continued momentum for the studio as it expands its degen native MMO and interconnected onchain economy.
Early Access Begins November 28
Players will be able to explore new systems, updated risk mechanics, and early Season 3 content beginning at 11 AM ET on November 28. The playtest will run for three days and serve as a tuning phase before the full seasonal reset.
Season 3 will include new economic loops and player progression layers built on data gathered from Gold Rush Season 2, which recorded more than 4,500 concurrent players and over $1.5M in wagers.
Season Opens December 4
The Depths Below officially begins on December 4 and will run for ten days. Cambria describes the season as a chapter focused on deeper resource layers, expanded extraction dynamics, and a darker tone captured in the season’s teaser line: Beneath every fortune lies a hundred graves.
Building On a Record Year
Cambria’s ecosystem has seen rapid growth throughout 2025. Duel Arena surpassed $145 million in lifetime wagered volume, while the studio’s NFT ecosystem crossed $5M in combined market cap across Founders, Cores, and Islands. With recent funding and increasing alignment with the Ronin ecosystem, the studio is positioning Season 3 as another scaling moment for its onchain MMO framework.
More details on The Depths Below, including documentation and patch notes, will be released on November 26 through Cambria’s official channels.
