Quick Take
- Cardano Unreal Engine SDK adds ADA, NFT, and wallet integration to UE5
- Built by Flux Point Studios, known for TRIB3 and Pit Brawl
- 33% of SDK revenue flows on-chain to the $SHARDS community treasury
Flux Point Studios has released the Cardano Unreal Engine SDK, a plug-and-play module that enables ADA payments, NFT rendering, and wallet connectivity directly inside Unreal Engine 5 projects. The toolkit lowers the barrier for game developers looking to integrate on-chain features into traditional games without rebuilding infrastructure from scratch.
The SDK supports native Cardano assets and introduces clean APIs for wallet connection, transaction handling, and asset display within the UE5 framework. Developers can plug it into their project and begin working with ADA and NFTs inside a high-fidelity game engine environment.
In a unique twist, 33% of revenue generated by the SDK will be routed into the $SHARDS community treasury. The funds come from licensing and usage fees, all handled through smart contracts. The result is a revenue-sharing model where $SHARDS holders receive on-chain benefits tied directly to the SDK’s adoption and usage.
This marks one of the first Cardano-native SDKs built specifically for Unreal Engine at production scale. Flux Point Studios says the SDK has been in long-term development and builds on earlier community efforts to bridge Cardano and 3D game tooling.
No specific launch date has been given, but the SDK release is described as imminent.
The release comes as part of Flux Point Studios’ broader push to build Cardano-native infrastructure for Web3 gaming. The studio previously launched TRIB3, a competitive third-person shooter where $SHARDS holders gain governance rights, now in beta on the Epic Games Store, and PFP Pit Brawl, a turn-based strategy game with NFT-integrated characters.
Flux Point also operates multiple AI tools under its broader development umbrella, including ShardSwap, a predictive NFT marketplace, and Saturn Swap, a natural language DEX powered by AI systems.
Beyond $SHARDS, the studio’s related token $AGENT has expanded liquidity to the Base network via WanChain bridging. Staking incentives for $AGENT are currently promoted at up to 1850% APR, although performance rates are not guaranteed and may change over time.
The Cardano Unreal Engine SDK adds to a growing stack of game dev infrastructure on Cardano. It brings mainstream game development closer to on-chain systems and ties real revenue to community-owned tokens through smart contract distribution models.
