Quick Take
- ChronosWorlds enters early access with co-op dungeons, PvP, and loot extraction
- Optional NFT characters called Travelers offer perks and future token eligibility
- Epic Games Store launch confirmed by co-founder with mobile rollout planned
ChronosWorlds is launching soon in early access on the Epic Games Store, with mobile versions also in development. Built by Sphere Studios, the 2.5D action RPG combines cooperative dungeon runs with PvP mechanics and a class-based progression system centered around real-time combat and high-stakes loot.
The early version includes Adventure Mode, a feature where players take on procedurally generated dungeons solo or in teams of up to four. The Broken Temple acts as a shared social hub, allowing up to 100 users to trade gear, initiate duels, or form parties. Items collected during expeditions can be lost permanently if players fail to extract or are defeated mid-run.
Character classes include Warrior, Tank, Mage, and Assassin. Progression is driven by stat improvements, gear upgrades, and item fusion. PvP features include free-for-all and small-scale royale-style battles, with some matches allowing looting from defeated opponents. Additional event modes like Ambush will rotate in and out as part of the game’s ongoing update cycle.
While blockchain integration is optional, Sphere Studios confirmed support for NFT-based avatars called Travelers. These collectible characters can be purchased through platforms like Magic Eden and include dynamic traits and quest multipliers. Ownership may also make players eligible for the project’s upcoming $SPHR token.
After months of limited testing, Sphere Studios is preparing to open early access. Co-founder Eric Phan confirmed the news, writing, “I’m tired of waiting. ChronosWorlds is launching soon, for real.”
