Quick Take
- Over 475,000 players joined Project Voyager’s campaign in less than a month
- Participants spent $75,000 worth of RON to unlock in-game rewards
- DynoCoin airdrop tied to performance ahead of Craft World’s launch on Ronin
Ahead of the July 10 launch of Craft World, web3 studio Voya Games has released early results from its latest play-to-airdrop (P2A) campaign. Over a 20-day span, players spent more than $75,000 worth of Ronin’s native RON token while participating in Project Voyager, a campaign designed to reward activity with allocations of the upcoming token DynoCoin.
The campaign, which serves both as onboarding funnel and token distribution event, attracted 2.7 million account registrations through social login tools. Of those, about 475,000 players actively engaged in the event, completing missions and spending RON in pursuit of gacha rewards and crystals, which determine leaderboard rankings.
Spending, Crystals, and Leaderboards
Players could spend RON in several ways, most notably to unlock gacha boxes that offered gameplay bonuses and multiplier boosts. These helped increase crystal output, which ranked participants in the ongoing event. The top 25,000 crystal earners will receive mainnet DynoCoin allocations once Craft World goes live on the Ronin blockchain.
The top prize is 12.5 million DynoCoin for the highest-ranking player. The reward curve declines from there, ending with a minimum payout of 8,855 tokens at the 25,000th spot. While the total number of tokens being distributed has not been disclosed, Voya confirmed that allocations will be made upon game launch.
Players could also use RON to obtain testnet DynoCoin, a temporary currency used within the event to progress faster and unlock certain in-game features.
DynoCoin and the Angry Dynomites Ecosystem
DynoCoin is positioned as the utility token for Craft World and other future titles from Angry Dynomites Lab, including the upcoming pet simulation game Dynogotchi. The token has an uncapped supply and is used exclusively for in-game purchases, enhancements, and progression mechanics. No value is derived from speculative trading or governance mechanics.
Voya Games has not announced any exchange listings or broader tokenomics, keeping DynoCoin confined to gameplay purposes for now.
Project Voyager is intended to serve as the launchpad for this token ecosystem, introducing players to the mechanics of earning and spending in-game currency within a Web3 framework. It also acts as a stress test for user acquisition and retention on Ronin, the blockchain network built by Sky Mavis.
What Comes Next
Craft World’s launch on Ronin is scheduled for July 10, following the conclusion of the P2A campaign. While the campaign ends ahead of launch, rewards will be distributed based on final leaderboard standings. With strong early engagement and six-figure spending during the event, Voya will likely continue to build future onboarding strategies around gamified token distribution.
No further P2A events have been announced, but Angry Dynomites Labs has teased future integrations between Craft World and its expanding catalog of titles.
