Quick Take
- Upgrade base-level mines first to unlock stronger input across your production chain
- Expand the second plot early to fix overflow and balance key material output
- Vault, workers, and ad strategy all help speed up progress without needing NFTs
Beginner’s Guide to Craft World
Craft World, also known as Angry Dynomites Lab, is a Web3 builder made by Voya Games and one of the top play-to-earn games today. It’s a cross-platform game about keeping a bunch of half-aware dinos alive while managing resource chains that never quite stop moving. You collect stuff, craft stuff, build farms, upgrade mines, and take part in community projects. You don’t need to own an NFT to play. You don’t need to spend money to make progress. But you do need to know what you’re doing.
Dabudda does. He’s been playing for three months and reached level 177. He put together a full breakdown of what works, what doesn’t, and where to spend your time. The original video is linked below if you want to watch it for yourself. Here’s the full guide, written from the ground up.
1. Upgrade Your Bottom Mines First
The base of every build starts with the lowest-level mines such as Earth, Stone, and Sand. These feed the entire production line. Upgrading them first increases input to all layers above and keeps the system flowing.
Mines placed higher in the shaft tend to run slower if core resources aren’t coming in fast enough. It’s common to see top-tier mines under-leveled, and that’s fine. What matters most is having a strong foundation at the bottom.
2. Claim Vault Rewards Regularly
Water and Fire are elemental resources needed for farms and upgrades. The Vault generates these for free over time. No NFT is required to collect them.
The Vault operates on a timer. When ready, players can claim a batch of Water and Fire that contributes directly to production. Regular check-ins keep elemental resources flowing and prevent upgrade delays.
3. Unlock and Build Your Second Plot
The second plot unlocks early and should be built out as soon as possible. It provides flexibility for focused resource production.
If one material begins to overflow — like Copper — the second plot can be assigned entirely to something else, such as Steel. This helps balance supply across both plots and avoids build delays due to shortages.
4. Trade Extras in the Market for What You Need
The in-game market allows players to exchange surplus materials for Dinocoins, which can then be spent on resources that are missing. This system makes it possible to build continuously, even when your current production is uneven.
The market is especially useful during early expansion when new buildings require specific materials not yet in strong supply.
5. Use Ads Early to Speed Up Progress
Ads provide a temporary 2x speed boost on production. Watching these early in the game significantly accelerates output and helps unlock upgrades faster.
The ad-free version is also available as a one-time purchase. Players who continue playing after the first few weeks often choose to buy it to save time and keep progress consistent without daily ad interactions.
6. Assign Workers Based on Production Time
Each player has four workers. These can be assigned to different production buildings to increase speed by 50 percent per worker.
Tasks with long production times benefit the most from worker support. Assign workers to jobs like Steel or Clay that may take several hours, rather than short-cycle tasks that complete in minutes. Workers can also be placed on the second plot and reassigned freely as needed.
7. Check NFT Production Before You Buy
NFT dinos vary in hourly output. Some may produce 5 Water per hour, others may produce 10 or more. These traits directly affect how much value the NFT provides over time.
Before purchasing any asset on a secondary market, check the resource production stats to ensure it matches your needs. Price does not always reflect performance.
8. Look for Unused NFTs with Bonus Water or Fire
Some NFTs that have never been used in-game may come with large amounts of unclaimed Water or Fire. These resources are tied to the dino and become available once the NFT is activated in-game.
There is no visible indicator for this during purchase, and not all NFTs include bonus resources. It is not guaranteed, but when it occurs, the extra materials can support long-term play without additional input.
9. Donate to Masterpieces to Earn Trophies
Masterpieces are shared construction projects located outside the village. These structures, such as rockets or supercomputers, require donated resources from players across the game.
Donating earns trophies, which currently have no defined use. Players are collecting them in anticipation of future mechanics or reward systems. Contribution is quick and uses excess materials efficiently.
Final Notes
Craft World rewards efficient building and long-term planning. Focus early upgrades on bottom-level mines to support stronger output. Use Vault claims and ad boosts to keep production moving. Build the second plot early and shape it based on current shortages. Trade through the market when materials are uneven, and assign workers where they save the most time.
NFTs can enhance gameplay but are not required. When buying, check production stats carefully and be aware that some may contain unclaimed resources.
All systems in Craft World can be accessed and used effectively without spending money. With consistent play and smart upgrades, players can progress smoothly and contribute to larger shared builds across the game.
Just in time for the full release haha thanks
