Gigaverse Raises $2.3M to Expand Its Pixel RPG and Open World Economy
GLHF confirmed a $2.3 million funding round led by 1confirmation, with backers from Pudgy Penguins, Sky Mavis, 6529 Capital, and others. Gigaverse runs on a paid ETH install model, with over 75,000 players having joined at around $20 each.
The ecosystem has generated over $9 million in player trades across 450,000 marketplace transactions. The new funds will support a large-scale open world expansion and development of Gigus, an AI villain built with GLHF’s VILL[AI]N protocol.
GLHF also announced the launch of Gigaverse Eggs on OpenSea and an in-game character auction for Jucius Maximus, a one-of-one avatar with unrevealed traits.

Pudgy Party Skins Launch on Mythical Market, Listings Top $1,600
Pudgy Penguins’ mobile party game Pudgy Party launched on August 29 and reached the top of Apple’s iOS racing charts within days. Developed by Mythical Games, the game features short multiplayer challenges and tradable cosmetics.
All unlockable skins are listed on the Mythical Marketplace, with some priced between $825 and $1,684. CEO Luca Netz posted that full-time players could potentially earn more than minimum wage from in-game grinding, though no formal play-to-earn model has been launched.
The game is free-to-download with no wallet required and runs on Mythical’s Polkadot-based Mythos chain.

VALAN Token Takes Center Stage at Valannia’s Red Moon Gala
Valannia outlined a treasury-backed structure for its $VALAN token during the Red Moon Gala livestream. Every in-game spend burns 20% of the token while allocating rewards to DAOs, landholders, and company reserves.
The ecosystem introduces the Valannia Eternal Treasury, funded in SOL and BTC, which shares 20% of its yearly growth with the community. Marketplace transactions on Solana also distribute fees back to landholders based on city ownership.
The new Shadow Veil platform supports quest-driven airdrops, with users earning Runes of Ascension convertible to $VALAN at TGE.

Ronin Market Adds Cross-Chain NFT Payments With Support for Base, Arbitrum, and More
Ronin rolled out cross-chain payment features this week, letting users purchase NFTs with tokens from networks like Base, BNB, Arbitrum, and Optimism. Relay-powered infrastructure handles the gas and routing, while NFTs are delivered directly to Ronin wallets.
Users can also gift purchases and use credit cards at checkout. The Fortune Spin blind box feature now supports multiple Ronin-native tokens including WETH, PIXEL, and SLP.
This release is part of Ronin’s larger push toward Ethereum Layer-2 migration set for mid-2026.

Sunflower Land Confirms Second Game, Project II, Built Around $FLOWER
The studio behind Sunflower Land announced Project II, a new browser-based clicker game focused on trading, set for a 2026 launch. Development will begin with community input and expand $FLOWER utility across both titles.
$FLOWER replaced SFL earlier this year and serves as the core token for Sunflower Land’s MMO and future games. Project II will integrate NFT drops, gameplay advantages, and tradable assets into its core loop.
Meanwhile, Sunflower Land continues updates with new pets, swamps, insects, and faction revamps planned for 2025.
