Delabs Games has secured $5.2 million in additional funding, bringing its total capital raised to $17.2 million. The Series A round includes new support from Yield Guild Games, Everyrealm, IVC, Kilofun, and Taisu, along with individual participation from Dingaling, Grail, and Gabby Dizon.
The funding will support the launch of Ragnarok Libre, a new idle RPG, along with Delabs’ native ecosystem tokens. It will also be used to expand development on the Verse8 platform, which combines generative AI with blockchain systems to enable persistent, on-chain multiplayer game worlds.
The Verse8 platform is being developed in partnership with Planetarium Labs and is designed to support AI-driven games with adaptive content, on-chain economies, and replayable structure. Delabs said the platform will streamline development workflows while integrating ownership and transparency through blockchain architecture.
The company previously raised $7 million in 2022 from 4:33 Creative Lab and followed that with $4.7 million in July 2023 from investors including Hashed and Polygon. A strategic round from TON Ventures and Noah Kim closed in October 2024.
Delabs Games is led by co-CEOs Joonmo Kwon, former Nexon CEO, and JC Kim, co-founder of Planetarium Labs, who joined earlier this year. The team is scaling up its production capacity ahead of multiple launches.
Ragnarok Libre has passed 100,000 pre-registrations. Boxing Star X, another Delabs title, recently reached two million users and is currently ranked in the top 10 games on DappRadar.
