Quick Take
- Beam integration now live with full NFT support for cosmetics and Toyboxes
- FP tokens used for seasonal content, store access, and play-to-airdrop progression
- First limited Toybox drop, Cornerstone Collection, introduces cosmetic NFTs and rare Stadium land
Forgotten Playland has completed its Beam Network integration, officially bringing NFT-based asset control and tradable cosmetics to the social party game. The update went live June 19 and includes Toybox loot mechanics, wallet-linked ownership, and a token-driven in-game economy powered by FP tokens.
The Cornerstone Collection is the first release of cosmetic Toyboxes under the new system. Each Toybox is an NFT that contains random in-game items such as plush skins, accessories, and emotes. Items are categorized by rarity and can be traded on third-party platforms like Sphere once opened. Toyboxes are time-limited drops tied to specific promotional windows, and expire from the in-game store once the period ends.
Every Toybox includes a plush Kyn character with modular limbs, facial features, and outfits. The Cornerstone Collection is part of a small-batch rollout designed to test the Toybox format, and includes ultra rare visuals, dynamic effects, and a small supply of Stadium land—an arena-type zone built for PvP with configurable rules. Only 100 of these land NFTs exist, and 10 are included in this first release.
The in-game marketplace now operates on FP tokens, which are acquired through fiat top-up and wallet integration. These tokens unlock Toyboxes, premium battle pass tiers, and other store content. FP tokens are also central to Forgotten Playland’s play-to-airdrop loop. Engagement actions, quest participation, and cosmetic ownership all generate FLUFFY points. These points determine eligibility for future airdrops.
With Beam integration, assets and currencies are linked to self-custodial wallets. Cosmetics and Toyboxes are recorded on-chain, removing reliance on centralized servers for inventory access or trading. This infrastructure shift aligns with broader Web3 standards and introduces verifiable asset permanence.
The Cornerstone Collection drop will be followed by rotating Toybox sets, seasonal updates, and additional party game releases. Forgotten Playland will also roll out localized versions of the game, with full German language support already included in the latest patch. An upcoming PlushKyn battle mode is in development, expanding the game’s PvP functionality and strategic layer.
Originally released in March, Forgotten Playland is a browser-based multiplayer party game developed by Duckland Games, Vermillion Studios, and Beam Foundation. It features chaotic minigames and plush-inspired characters, with cross-platform access and regular content updates. The game is available now via Epic Games Store and HyperPlay.
