Quick Take
- 625 million $FP tokens will be unlocked for seed contributors on June 26
- A total of 2 billion $FP tokens will be permanently removed from the supply
- These updates precede upcoming Web3 monetization features and Beam integration
Forgotten Playland is restructuring its in-game economy. A major tokenomics update announced today introduces two significant shifts: the early unlock of all remaining seed investor tokens and the permanent removal of a large portion of $FP token supply. These decisions are being positioned as part of a broader move to prepare for on-chain functionality powered by Beam and the rollout of core monetization systems.
The update affects 625 million $FP tokens originally allocated to early backers under a vesting schedule set to run through November 2025. That lock period will end on June 26 at 12:00 UTC, accelerating the distribution of those tokens. According to the Forgotten Playland development team, this unlock is intended to remove long-term uncertainty and align circulating supply with the next phase of the game’s economy.
In addition to the unlock, a supply reduction is underway. Forgotten Playland will permanently burn 2 billion $FP tokens, amounting to 20% of the initial supply. No timeline was specified beyond a general commitment to complete the burn on-chain within the next week. The team noted that 30% of total tokens remain in reserve and cited an internal assessment of the game’s economy as the basis for the reduced need for circulating supply.
Forgotten Playland Sets to Integrate Avalanche Subnet, Beam
The decisions arrive ahead of upcoming Web3 integrations, which include on-chain rewards, token sinks, and a shift toward blockchain-based monetization. Forgotten Playland is building these features in collaboration with Beam, the Avalanche subnet known for gaming-focused infrastructure.

Additional systems are being developed in parallel. Competitive leaderboards, a community questing layer, and recurring gameplay updates are in production. The game’s roadmap includes more content drops and in-person appearances at Gamescom in Cologne and the Tokyo Game Show later this year.
A marketing campaign targeting German-speaking regions is scheduled to begin with a June 19 update. Ongoing user acquisition efforts will continue through external partners.
Forgotten Playland has reported over 200,000 global downloads to date. The development team has framed these recent changes as part of a long-term approach focused on utility and product maturity rather than speculation.
Community participation remains open through Discord, with active input encouraged on future game design and economic balancing.
