A Forgotten Runes Halloween gaming event will be held from October 28 at 12 PM PST until October 30 at 10 PM PST on the Edison Metaverse platform. During this three-day event, players can participate in team-based and individual activities on Mount Umbra, competing to collect Black Magic Donuts and secure leaderboard rankings.
About Forgotten Runes Halloween Event
Players can select either team Might or Magic each day, joining the battlefield on Mount Umbra to compete in gathering Dark Moon Rocks from chests scattered throughout the environment. These rocks can be delivered to the Black Shards of Umbra to earn points for each respective team. The event supports Forgotten Runes 3D rigs, as well as any compatible models on Edison’s platform. Pumpkin heads are available as default character models for those without assets.
To diversify gameplay, 100 Black Magic Donuts will be hidden across the map daily, resetting in new locations to create additional challenges and opportunities to earn rewards. By the event’s end, participants can secure a total of up to 300 Donuts. A daily leaderboard will track scores, with high-scoring participants recognized individually, and the top team earning extra Donuts each day. Scores reset at the start of each new round, offering a fresh start for each day of the event.
The event is optimized for desktop and will be accessible through Edison.wtf on October 28.
