Real-Time Markets for Gaming and Streaming
Forkast has migrated to Arbitrum, Ethereum’s leading layer-2 network, in a move designed to power real-time prediction markets across gaming, streaming, and live events. The integration gives Forkast access to Arbitrum’s fast block speeds, reportedly as low as 250 milliseconds, and its $20 billion DeFi liquidity network.
The company described the migration as a key step toward building live, streamer-native markets that let users trade predictions as quickly as the content unfolds. Forkast’s system allows viewers to open and settle predictions in near real time during esports matches, influencer livestreams, or cultural broadcasts, turning audience engagement into an active trading experience.
“Prediction markets live or die by speed and liquidity,” said Chris Gonsalves, CEO of Forkast. “Arbitrum’s unmatched performance and thriving DeFi community make it the perfect home for Forkast as we scale markets across livestreaming, gaming, and entertainment.”

Backed by Arbitrum’s Liquidity Network
Forkast’s migration gives traders access to Arbitrum’s DeFi ecosystem, which holds more than 38% of the layer-2 market share. Users can earn USDC rewards by participating as liquidity providers or market makers through Forkast’s daily incentive program. The initiative is structured to deepen onchain liquidity while improving market efficiency and transparency.
Ethan Sy, Venture Associate at Arbitrum Gaming Ventures, said the collaboration reflects Arbitrum’s broader focus on scalable consumer applications. “Forkast is bringing prediction markets into the heart of live entertainment,” he said. “Their fast, frictionless markets embody Arbitrum’s vision for consumer-ready applications as streaming reshapes audience engagement.”
Building the Next Wave of OnChain Participation
Forkast’s model bridges trading and interactive entertainment, creating prediction markets that move at the pace of cultural events. From esports tournaments and major sporting events to real-time crypto price action, the platform is designed for Gen Z audiences familiar with creator-driven communities and live content.
The partnership with Arbitrum strengthens Forkast’s position in onchain prediction and gives developers the infrastructure to expand its product lineup across gaming, culture, and digital media.
