Organized by GAM3S.GG in partnership with Yield Guild Games (YGG), this year’s ceremony will conclude the summit and be streamed worldwide, featuring new categories, expanded jury participation, and a record-breaking prize pool exceeding $7 million.
Expanding the Scope of Web3 Gaming Recognition
First held in 2022, the GAM3 Awards has grown into one of the most visible events in the Web3 gaming calendar. The 2024 edition recorded over one million votes from 143,000 unique participants, establishing it as one of the largest community-driven awards in the space.
The 2025 ceremony introduces 21 award categories, including a new Best Sound category to highlight advancements in audio design. Returning categories include Game of the Year, People’s Choice, and Best Content Creator. Jury votes will account for 90 percent of the results, with community voting determining the remaining 10 percent.

The judging panel now includes more than 80 figures from across both traditional and blockchain gaming, such as Jamie King, co-founder of Rockstar Games, alongside executives from Konami, Sony, Epic Games, Ubisoft, Krafton, and major blockchain networks including Ronin, Immutable, and Avalanche.
Industry Partnerships and Global Reach
New sponsors and partners joining for 2025 include Sui, OpenSea, Arbitrum, and Abu Dhabi Gaming. Additional backing from companies such as Magic Eden, HyperPlay, Sequence, and Amazon Web Services contributes to the $7 million prize pool, which will be distributed in the form of grants, infrastructure support, and marketing resources for developers.
Gabby Dizon, co-founder of YGG, described the event as a “tradition for the Web3 gaming community,” emphasizing its role in recognizing creative and technical contributions to the industry. GAM3S.GG CEO Omar Ghanem noted that the awards were created “to celebrate the builders who keep pushing forward despite challenges,” positioning the event as both a reflection of industry progress and a showcase of what lies ahead.
Global Nominees and Community Voting
Five titles will compete for Game of the Year: Off The Grid, Pudgy Party, FIFA Rivals, Parallel, and EVE Frontier. In total, games from more than 13 blockchain networks are represented among nominees, including Ronin, Solana, Base, Arbitrum, and Sui.

Voting opened on October 20 and will run until November 17 on the GAM3S.GG website. Community members can also vote for People’s Choice and Best Content Creator, while studios will participate in the Games’ Choice category.
The Event at YGG Play Summit
The GAM3 Awards will serve as the finale of the YGG Play Summit, a five-day gaming convention running from November 18 to 22 in Manila. The summit, described as the world’s largest player-focused Web3 gaming event, will feature esports tournaments, workshops, cosplay competitions, and discussions with founders and executives from leading gaming organizations.
The awards ceremony will include live performances, new game reveals, and exclusive announcements from participating studios. Both in-person attendees and online viewers will be able to follow the show across major streaming platforms.
