Quick Take
- New idle RPG debuts July 24 with no upfront cost and daily progression
- Token launch still paused as GOAT focuses on AI and user quality
- Mighty Action Heroes sunset July 22, assets remain exportable until shutdown
GOAT Gaming is pivoting. The studio behind Mighty Action Heroes says it’s ending live support for the multiplayer browser game on July 22. Its new focus is Season 4 of its Telegram-native platform, which will center around a free-to-play idle RPG with simplified progression, offline growth, and automated AI agents.
The change comes just weeks after GOAT confirmed the $GG token generation event is still delayed. The token was originally planned for Q2 but has been held due to poor exchange conditions and declining support for gaming assets. The team said it is now positioning itself more as an AI product than a traditional game studio.
Mighty Action Heroes had launched in late 2023 as a real-time battle royale built for web browsers, but ran into performance issues when tested on Telegram. Developers say latency and multiplayer syncing made it impossible to port, and chose to sunset the game rather than “deliver a compromised experience.” Assets like Heroes, Supply Crates, and Grenades will remain exportable on-chain.
As reported by GAM3S.GG, the next phase of GOAT Gaming will include a lighter game format with idle progression mechanics, blind box rewards, and bot-enabled play. Users won’t need to pay to start, but withdrawals will now require multiple checks. Accounts must be 30 days old, have a level 10 profile, deposit $100 in gameplay, and complete 100 paid matches to be eligible for cashing out. The new rules are aimed at stopping bots that have exploited the platform’s spins and referrals since March.
GOAT says AI will play a bigger role moving forward. Its AlphaGOAT agents, first introduced in Mighty Action Heroes, are being retooled for Telegram environments where they can compete in tournaments or automate earnings. A new in-game bot named Amy will guide users through strategy and manage some functions automatically.
The studio says the Genesis GOAT NFTs will continue to carry perks, especially once the token launches. These include extra raffle entries and multipliers in Season 4, although timelines for token liquidity remain unclear. The planned $50,000 raffle tied to the TGE is also being delayed.
GOAT Gaming previously raised $10 million in 2022 and reported to now serve more than 6 million users on Telegram. The team has not ruled out revisiting other formats in the future, but for now is doubling down on bots, idle games, and monetization within chat apps.
