Immutable’s trading-card game, Gods Unchained has joined other elite TCG on the prestigious Epic Games Store. Before Gods Unchained surfaced, popular trading card games like Hearthstone, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Legends Of Runeterra among others joined the game store. The game hopes to become more accessible and discoverable, considering the 230 million PC users using Epic Games Store. The presence of Immutable’s TCG in the Epic Games Store will usher the game to a wide gaming audience of traditional PC gamers and TCG lovers.
As a web3 pioneer, Gods Unchained is pushing its gameplayer to TCG and strategy mainstream gamers. Aside from its recently unveiled gold-plated logo, the game rebranded it in 2019 and 2020. This TCG offers players a dire to master TCG strategy with an opportunity to enjoy asset ownership.
Daniel Paez, Gods Unchained’s vice president of revenue and executive producer said: “This move represents our unwavering commitment to expanding our reach and breaking new ground in order to capture the attention of a wider audience who may not be aware of our game’s existence outside the confines of the web3 gaming bubble,”
Gods Unchained Refocuses
In addition to the wider mainstream, Gods Unchained is considering hardcore mainstream TCG and strategy gamers who are not familiar with web3. The rebranded “Gods Unchained” campaigns an “Own Your Journey” platform where non-web3 gamers can experience the value behind ownership.
Gods Unchained claims the rebrand is a symbol of its commitment to remaining a top web3 game that intersects with traditional TCGs. In the next few weeks, the game will replace its old logo with its recent golden one.
