Quick Take
- IMX stakers with 1000+ tokens to receive part of 0.2% of the total $END token supply
- Distribution to happen in two stages: at TGE and 3 months later
- $END will fuel Treeverse’s cross-game premium economy on Immutable zkEVM
Immutable stakers woke up to new rewards on June 30. The Endless Foundation, creators of the upcoming Treeverse MMORPG, announced a surprise drop of $END tokens to wallets holding 1000 or more IMX. The reward pool totals 0.2% of $END’s 500 million supply, or 1 million tokens in total.
The drop follows a snapshot taken at 6am UTC on June 30. Eligible wallets will receive their share in two waves: the first 50% shortly after Treeverse’s $END token generation event (TGE), and the rest three months later, as long as their IMX stake remains above the same level. The team says there’s no need to claim and rewards will be sent directly.
According to Immutable co-founder Robbie Ferguson, this is the first of many such rewards planned for IMX stakers. He noted that Immutable has hosted a game TGE every month since its updated tokenomics went live and currently has over 625 titles in its launch pipeline.
Treeverse’s $END token will act as a tradable, cross-title premium currency within the Endless Clouds ecosystem. The team has confirmed $END will launch as an ERC-20 asset on Ethereum and Immutable zkEVM, with a starting circulating supply of 155.5 million tokens. A majority of the total supply is reserved for community-based distribution, including seasonal gameplay rewards, events, and NFT integrations.
The drop is another move in Immutable’s strategy to onboard players through direct ownership and in-game value. The company recently appeared on NYSE TV to talk about Web3 gaming’s growth curve and its push to support both new projects and major traditional publishers like Ubisoft and Netmarble.
The Treeverse airdrop also follows its own major milestone. The $END whitepaper, published June 27, outlines how the token will support in-game purchases, cosmetics, digital goods, and future cross-title functionality. Treeverse remains in alpha and is currently playable via the Epic Games Store, Google Play, and iOS.
For those tracking Immutable’s recent traction with gaming tokens, this $END drop marks a continued shift in how Web3 platforms reward long-term stakers with ecosystem-level participation.
