October 31, 2025 — KapKap, the AI-native Web3 platform pioneering attention-driven value distribution through gaming, AIGC, and reputation systems, has raised a total of $10 million USD in seed funding to accelerate the expansion of its KAPS reputation engine and ecosystem.
KapKap’s Seed Round was led by Animoca Brands, and included participation from Shima Capital, Mechanism Capital, Klaytn Foundation, and Big Brain Holdings, demonstrating early conviction in KapKap’s growth prospects from some of the most active investors across Web3 and gaming verticals. The most recent Strategic Round, led by Unicorn Verse and joined by Rzong Capital and BGX Capital, further reinforces investor confidence in KapKap’s mission to build the world’s first AI-native attention economy platform.
Beyond its investor network, KapKap has also formed strategic partnerships with globally recognized IPs and communities, including BAYC, ApeCoin DAO, and SNK, bringing their iconic brands and characters into the KapKap ecosystem through collaborations such as Summon of Glory. These partnerships expand KapKap’s reach into both mainstream gaming and NFT culture, establishing a strong foundation for cross-industry growth.
Built around its proprietary KAPS (Key Attention Pricing System), KapKap converts user attention and loyalty into measurable reputation and value. By tracking gameplay, social activity, and creative participation, KAPS generates a unique k-score for each user, enabling fair and transparent value distribution across the ecosystem.
With over 1.7 million monthly active users and 25,000 daily active users, KapKap is already working with popular titles such as Summon of Glory (SOG) and Idle Knights, positioning itself as a major growth driver in the BNB Chain ecosystem.
KapKap has also established a strong foundation of IP collaborations to enrich its content ecosystem. Through its partner game Summon of Glory, the platform holds licensing rights to several of Japan’s most iconic gaming IPs from SNK, including The King of Fighters and Samurai Shodown, featuring characters such as Mai Shiranui, Iori Yagami, Haohmaru, and Kyo Kusanagi. It has also introduced a BAYC-themed NFT hero series endorsed by ApeCoin DAO, connecting mainstream IPs with Web3 communities.
These collaborations make KapKap one of the few platforms capable of bringing globally recognized entertainment brands into the Web3 space, setting the stage for deeper partnerships with game studios and content creators worldwide.
“Our goal is to redefine how digital value is created and shared. Attention is only the starting point, while true value comes from long-term engagement and trust,” said Andy Mao, Co-Founder and CMO of KapKap. “With KAPS, we’re building a system where every action, interaction, and contribution matters. We aim to turn user participation into meaningful digital capital.”
The new funding will support KapKap’s next phase of growth, scaling the KAPS reputation system, expanding collaborations with game developers, and launching new casual titles designed to bring millions of users into the attention-driven Web3 ecosystem.
