Quick Takes
- Mash lets users generate and remix 3D assets with AI, supporting GLB downloads for major engines.
- The platform integrates with the Somnia blockchain for SOMI and fiat payments plus onchain royalties.
- All assets use Creative Commons licensing to support open creation and collaboration.
MSquared has launched Mash, a new AI powered platform built to simplify how creators generate, share, and remix 3D assets. The tool uses generative AI to turn text prompts into usable 3D models while giving the community the ability to curate and evolve each other’s creations.
Mash supports GLB file downloads, making its assets instantly compatible with popular platforms including Roblox, Unity, Blender, and Garry’s Mod. MSquared plans to expand into 3D characters, animations, and sound effects, positioning Mash as a full pipeline for digital asset production.
Powered by Somnia
Mash is integrated with the Somnia EVM blockchain, allowing users to pay with the SOMI token or fiat. A subscription tier is planned for additional tools and ongoing access.
A key feature of the platform is its royalty system, which automatically rewards creators when their assets are remixed or reused across the ecosystem.
A Community First Approach
According to MSquared, Mash is designed to counter the homogeneity often seen in AI generated art. The platform encourages creators to collaborate, build on each other’s work, and keep a human touch in AI driven asset creation.
All assets on Mash are released under Creative Commons licensing, allowing open use while ensuring original creators receive proper credit and royalties.
Rethinking 3D Creation
By pairing generative AI with a blockchain enabled royalty model, Mash offers a new workflow for artists, modders, and game developers. It aims to make asset creation faster and more collaborative while preserving ownership and creator rewards across a growing Web3 ecosystem.
