Quick Take
- RavenIdle launches July 4 with Season 0 and a prize pool seeded at $70,000
- Every Battle Pass purchase directly funds the growing reward pool up to $570,000
- Available on web, mobile, and Telegram with risk-based idle progression
Tavernlight Games, the studio behind RavenQuest, is expanding its fantasy IP with a new title, RavenIdle, launching July 4. The idle RPG will begin with Season 0, introducing a $70,000 prize pool that scales up to $570,000 based on the number of Battle Pass sales.
The game uses a risk-to-earn model. Unlike most idle games that reward cosmetic unlocks or passive stat growth, RavenIdle ties player earnings directly to a community-funded prize pool. All revenue from Battle Pass sales goes into the reward fund, which is distributed to players at the end of the season. Daily sessions are brief, but longer-term performance and engagement shape how much players can earn.
Playable on browsers, mobile devices, and Telegram, RavenIdle brings pixelated visuals and short-session loops into the RavenQuest universe. Characters can be customized using skill trees across three specializations. Gameplay involves sending units through dungeon floors, collecting resources, crafting gear, and managing land-based systems like trade routes and farming.
Players earn $QUEST tokens by completing rotating tasks such as monster kills, production targets, or resource gathering. The title emphasizes asynchronous progression, with game logic continuing even while users are offline.
The game is built on Immutable’s infrastructure, bringing on-chain reward tracking and asset control into the idle RPG format. Though specifics about Battle Pass contents and price are still undisclosed, the studio confirmed that a free-entry caption contest is underway via X. Winners will receive a free pass, with entries closing June 26.
According to Tavernlight, RavenIdle is part of a longer-term expansion plan. A third title in the same IP is already in development for late 2025. Season 0 will serve as a testbed for its risk-to-earn structure before broader feature rollout.
Early feedback from testers has highlighted ease of use and strong loop design. Unlike its MMORPG counterpart, RavenIdle leans into passive decision-making and strategic loadout play, rather than time-intensive grinding. The core systems are designed to function independently of player presence, but consistent engagement is rewarded.
Season 0 will run throughout the summer, with future updates expected to add layers to the game’s economic systems. Tavernlight’s multi-title approach signals a growing footprint within Immutable’s ecosystem, as it positions its IP to support cross-platform, modular gameplay at scale.
