The Forgotten Runiverse, a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG, has collaborated with Pixels, the popular social farming game, to launch a 5,000,000 $PIXEL rewards event starting May 5 at 3:00 PM ET. The event is split into two phases, each lasting two weeks.
How to Participate in the $PIXEL Rewards Event
Participation is accessible via the left-side menu in the game interface, allowing players to bid on Quanta and earn $PIXEL rewards. They can also complete daily quests and the main quest line for extra Quanta rewards. Quanta can be strategically used to boost gameplay by purchasing Mana and Boosts.
Meanwhile, players enjoy a 20% discount when purchasing in-game items from the Runiverse Store using $PIXEL. During the event, they can also obtain six limited-time exclusive items from the Font of Memory, including three tiers of Pixels Cow Mount and three tiers of Pixels Robe Cosmetics.
Runiverse Ecosystem Upgrades
Runiverse has introduced Building Infusions, allowing Landowners to enhance their plots and activate powerful boosts for Temples, Gathering Stations, and City Stones.
The team unveiled a newly updated Land Management UI that promotes collaboration, enabling co-owners, builders, friends, guildmates, and visitors to manage land together. However, Landowners have control over Quanta reward distribution and can decide whether to share those rewards with others.
Runiverse has expanded its gameplay beyond dungeons into a dynamic open world, filled with points of interest, exploration challenges, and secret areas. Other updates include Memory Client Optimization that ensures smoother gameplay, and acceptance of credit card payments for in-game purchases.
$PIXEL Staking and Cross-Game Integration
Pixels has introduced $PIXEL staking across three games: The Forgotten Runiverse, Pixels Dungeon, and Pixels. Stakers can earn rewards by voting for their favorite games, supporting ongoing development, and contributing to the economic sustainability of the Pixels ecosystem.
