Play Solana has officially unveiled its first title, Play Solana: Origin, set to launch exclusively on the PSG1 handheld console and accessible to owners of the Player 1 NFT. This announcement follows the release of the PlaySolana-Unity.SDK, a toolkit designed to streamline the integration of games with the PSG1 device.
PSG1: Bridging Classic Gaming with Crypto Gaming
Similar to Sui’s SuiPlayOX1 he PSG1 stands out as the first handheld gaming console built on the Solana blockchain. Priced at $329, the device features an octa-core ARM CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 64GB of flash storage. Its 3.92-inch OLED touchscreen offers a resolution of 1240×1080, delivering vibrant visuals in a retro-inspired vertical design reminiscent of classic handhelds.
Beyond its gaming capabilities, the device incorporates a built-in hardware wallet and fingerprint sensor, ensuring secure and seamless interactions within the Web3 gaming ecosystem. The device supports WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, enhancing its versatility for modern gaming needs.
Exclusive Access Through Player 1 NFT
Ownership of the Player 1 NFT unlocks a suite of benefits within the Play Solana ecosystem. NFT holders gain exclusive access to Play Solana: Origin, priority for PSG1 pre-orders, discounted purchase windows, and eligibility for future airdrops.
