Quick Take
- Star Atlas Holosim Season 1 is live with $35K in USDC, SOL, and in-game rewards
- Top 1,500 on the leaderboard and first 1,000 quest completions qualify for prizes
- Holosim launched ahead of ZINK’s XP-based airdrop campaign starting in September
Season 1 of Holosim is now live, offering over $35,000 in combined rewards across USDC, SOL, and in-game content. The competitive module, developed as part of the Star Atlas ecosystem, features two tracks for earning: a leaderboard challenge and a timed questline.
Star Atlas’ Holosim is a free-to-play browser-based strategy simulation game that serves as a simplified, entry-level version of the main Star Atlas metaverse game. The module introduces mechanics like resource management, fleet command, and real-time strategy on a persistent space map
Leaderboard and Quest Rewards Now Active
The leaderboard will reward the top 1,500 ranked accounts at the end of the season. The highest rank receives 300 USDC and 0.02 SOL. Positions two through four receive between 200 and 100 USDC, with SOL and crew packs included. Ranks eleven through fifty each receive 50 USDC, 0.02 SOL, and additional crew packs. All top 50 rankings include crew pack rewards.
A second reward path is tied to questline completion. The first 1,000 accounts to complete the questline will receive a Welcome Bundle. This bundle includes a VZUS Solos ship, a skin for that ship, and 0.02 SOL.
ZINK Blockchain Adds Context to Holosim’s Timing
The launch of Holosim Season 1 comes shortly after the public unveiling of ZINK, a new Solana-compatible Layer 1 blockchain created by the Star Atlas team. ZINK will power future game logic and onchain systems, with a token airdrop campaign starting in September. XP earned across Star Atlas products will determine distribution, and while Holosim has not been officially confirmed as part of the XP-eligible set, its connection to the broader ecosystem suggests possible inclusion.
Mainnet for ZINK is expected to go live in December. Holosim remains active under existing infrastructure, with Season 1 rewards set for distribution after the season ends.
