Sequel to the previous announcement, Star Atlas has launched its Showroom Release 2.1. Star Atlas R2.1 comes with several amazing features accessible to a selected number of players. Before the release, the game released several sneak peeks of its upcoming updates.
The closed-access game version features wild racing tracks of the Volant Station, jetpacks, Ground Racing, environmental updates, galactic marketplace integration, a new experimental mode, an updated dogfighting arena, and 49 flyable ships. Ground Racing challenges players’ skills by testing their ability to adapt to the mechanic of racing during a time-trial contest. The game mode is currently in solo mode but the team hopes to introduce multiplayer contests in the subsequent version.
Developments in Showroom Release 2.1
Star Atlas has almost completed 6 flyable ships out of the 49 flyable ships which include Opal Jet, Fimbul Lowbie, Fimbul Airbike, Pearce X6, Fimbul ECOS Unibomba, and Floydliner. The game has completed a flyable ship, Pearce X4, up to Gold standard. Players can take a Testflight from all manufacturers while trying to get a perfect ship.
Another important feature of StarAtlas Showroom R2.1 allows players to take photographs from the game. Players can take a snapshot, upload it to Discord and get a chance to receive a minted photo sent to their wallet. A new “Experimental Mode” gives players the opportunity to access maps and characters under development. This mode indirectly gives players a peer into the future of the game’s immersive world.
How to Participate in Showroom Release 2.1
Players must get a closed-access game key to participate in Star Atlas Showroom Release 2.1. There are two methods: spawning a fleet in SAGE: Escape Velocity or enlisting a ship in Faction Fleet for 7 days. Thereafter, players can redeem their keys at Epic Games Store.
