About The Backwoods
The Backwoods is a pixel-art roguelite built on Solana, combining fast-paced melee and ranged combat with blockchain-integrated progression. Players explore a procedurally generated world rooted in the mythos of the Eldertree, using NFT Heroes to battle demonic creatures and unlock gear. The game’s dual-token system, $LEAF and $SEED, powers its player-driven economy, offering both utility and governance. Hero NFTs affect gameplay directly by granting in-world abilities and access to token drops, crafting upgrades, and gated alpha events. Currently in closed alpha, the game is accessible through community invites and early NFT holders.
