What is The Beacon?
The Beacon is a free-to-play fantasy action roguelite RPG with MMO elements such as cooperative gameplay, social hubs, player housing, and long-term progression. Players battle through procedurally generated dungeons that shift with each run, facing different enemies, paths, and items every time.
The game features fast-paced combat, solo and online multiplayer options, and a range of customization tools for both characters and personal settlements. Beyond the dungeon runs, the world centers on Altaris and the fading light of the Beacon, which has protected humanity from the forces of Umbra for generations. Settlements like Dawnport serve as gathering points for adventurers, offering social spaces, quests, and opportunities to showcase loot and achievements.
Developed and published by Skillcap Inc, The Beacon is available through Windows and Mac, with support for blockchain and NFT integrations tied to gameplay and rewards.
