Zeeverse just announced a major mint on Ronin Network. Axie Infinity is wrapping up its Nightmare airdrops. Ronin Blitz is rewarding rETH liquidity. And in the wider Web3 gaming space, SEED Combinator is catching heat for what looks like a carbon copy of Axie’s legacy designs.
Much of this news was highlighted in a recent video recap by the Ronin Network team, who continue to spotlight the ecosystem’s momentum across games, DeFi, and creator tools.
Let’s break it all down in this week’s recap.
Zeeverse Brings a New MMO to Ronin Network
Zeeverse’s move to Ronin isn’t just a chain migration. According to the team, it marks a complete game overhaul. Described as a free-to-play MMORPG rooted in indigenous-inspired worldbuilding, the title now blends open-world questing, creature collection, skill trees, and seasonal progression.
The first major mint on Ronin is called The Oath and goes live May 29. Zeeverse Genesis Mask and Land holders already have guaranteed whitelist access. Everyone else can participate through a Ronin Wallet bounty available inside the official wallet app. For those who are new, learn how to set up your Ronin Wallet here.
Zeeverse is also launching an Ambassador Program with uncapped 50% revenue share for top referrers and staking APYs starting at over 100,000%. Meanwhile, $VEE is heading to Katana, with new trading and DeFi options on the way.
And starting June 4, Zeeverse will roll out its Play-to-Airdrop campaign, promising a progression-based path to token rewards.
Axie Delivers Nightmare Rewards, Opens New Airdrop Window
Players who evolved eligible Nightmare parts before November 18 have already received Nightmare Accessories in their Axie inventory. The window for the second airdrop is now open and runs through June 5. To qualify, users must evolve at least two Nightmare parts before that deadline.
The Axie Bounty Board is also live again, with 27,000 AXS in total rewards. Daily quests across the Standard and Premier boards are eligible via app.axie.
For lore fans, LOL of the Dark Flame, a new Axie comic, is now available under the Lore tab on the official site.
rETH Arrives on Ronin Network as Blitz Rewards Expand
Ronin’s DeFi stack took a big step forward this week with the arrival of rETH, a token that represents staked Ethereum through Rocket Pool. For players, the big takeaway is this: you can now earn ETH staking rewards directly on Ronin, without locking anything up or managing your own validator.
rETH reflects both the value of ETH and the yield it generates while staked. That yield is powered by Rocket Pool’s network of over 3,900 decentralized node operators, who help secure the Ethereum network.
On Ronin, rETH can be paired with wrapped ETH in Katana liquidity pools to unlock multiple streams of value. First, there’s the built-in staking yield. Then, LP rewards. And during the current Ronin Blitz campaign, a new reward tier offers bonus incentives specifically for rETH-wETH pairs.
Ronen Cars Kicks Off NFT-Powered Racing Economy
Ronen Cars, the latest browser game from Ronen Mining Network, launched recently with 8,888 NFT vehicles designed to generate $RCAR through daily races. Each car has its own stats, fuel caps, and rarity-based earning potential.
Gameplay is simple: fuel up, race, repair, repeat. The top four finishers earn $RCAR payouts, while upgrades and repairs are paid for using tokens. Later updates will include PvP, car merging, and a dynamic weather system. Check out our full guide on the game here.
The game builds on Ronen’s previous clicker-style formats like Plants vs Ronke, this time adding a racing twist to its token farming ecosystem.
Sky Mavis Leans Into Gameplay-First Strategy with Atia’s Legacy
At TOKEN2049, Larsen also outlined Sky Mavis’ next steps, stating the industry is too focused on AAA graphics over gameplay. His team is doubling down on gameplay-first token economies with Atia’s Legacy, Axie’s upcoming MMO.
Pre-registrations have already crossed 15 million and its trailer reaching 10 millions views, with two playtests planned ahead of launch. The game runs on Ronin and emphasizes guilds, death-linked economy loops, and resource control—focusing on systems that can scale and iterate fast.
Ronin Network, once built solely to support Axie, is now becoming a foundation for other Web3-native titles like Zeeverse, Pixels, and Apeiron.
SEED Combinator Draws Fire for Axie Clone
Outside Ronin Network, one of the week’s biggest headlines came from SEED Combinator, a new game from Telegram gaming platform SEED. The title has triggered major backlash for its near-exact replication of Axie Infinity’s creature design, UI, and battle loop.
Axie cofounder Aleksander “Psycheout” Larsen addressed the issue on X, stating:
“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness. That said, this infringes on our @AxieInfinity IP, and it’s not okay.”
Larsen also called out the Sui Foundation—which backed SEED Combinator—along with Mysten Labs for failing to intervene.
Screenshots of SEED’s creatures, called “Mons,” show rounded bodies and pastel tones so similar to Axie’s legacy models that even veteran players were confused. Despite the criticisms, SEED is still positioning its game as a groundbreaking platform, citing AI integration, PvP loops, and VR support.
Community response has been overwhelmingly negative, with accusations of plagiarism, rug-pulls, and IP theft filling SEED’s replies across X.

Moku, Valhalla, and Fableborne Expand Ronin’s Gaming Depth
Three Ronin-native titles are evolving in big ways this week.
Moku, one of the network’s earliest NFT collections, is stepping beyond profile pics with the reveal of its Moku Grand Arena. Two new game modes are in development: a competitive platformer and a card-based strategy battler—both designed to bring utility to existing Moku NFTs and reframe the collection as a playable IP.
Valhalla Reborn is shifting from idle gameplay to full PvP. The addition of Power Chests introduces high-stakes reward mechanics, with prizes ranging from in-game boosts to a Legendary Kingdom NFT now trading with a $5,300 floor on the Ronin marketplace.
Fableborne, the action-RPG with base-building and asynchronous PvP, is now accessible to users in the Ronin ecosystem. Early test access lets players try out core features ahead of its official release later this year. Built with cross-platform support and collectible hero mechanics, Fableborne adds another layer to Ronin’s expanding game slate.
