YGG Play Brings New Waifu Sweeper Game To Abstract Chain
YGG Play has announced a new partnership with Raitomira to publish Waifu Sweeper, a puzzle and collection game that blends Minesweeper-style logic with anime-inspired waifu companions. The title is positioned inside YGG Play’s Casual Degen portfolio and will launch on Abstract Chain.
Waifu Sweeper uses information on the board to guide players through hidden monsters and treasure. The structure is built around deliberate moves rather than chance, forming the basis of a skill-to-earn loop. The approach stands apart from conventional gacha systems that center rewards on randomness.
Raitomira co-founders Hun Pascal Park and Karan Singh are overseeing development. Park previously worked on StarCraft II, Overwatch, and Hearthstone during his time at Blizzard, and later on PUBG Mobile in publishing roles at Tencent. Singh, known as Karan Wasabi, also contributed to PUBG Mobile and has several years of mobile production experience.
“Waifu Sweeper’s goal is to give players more agency about their in-game winnings by introducing skill to earn,” Park said. “YGG Play is shaping a new Web3 gaming landscape with the Casual Degen genre, and we are happy to be part of it.”
A Second-Party Publishing Deal
The partnership is structured as a second-party deal that connects the game to YGG Play’s network of players, guilds, creators, and partner studios. A smart contract revenue share will support distribution and ongoing operations. YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon said the game fits within the publisher’s plans to expand its casual segment. “Hun and Karan have been building in Web3 titles for several years. They are introducing combinations that have not been explored in YGG Play,” he said.
Launching At Art Basel Miami
Waifu Sweeper will hold its launch event during Art Basel Miami on December 6. The event is co-hosted by YGG Play, Raitomira, and OpenSea, aligning the reveal with the fair’s focus on digital and generative art through its Zero 10 program. Attendees will receive a soulbound proof-of-attendance token minted on Abstract Chain..
The title follows YGG Play’s ongoing effort to expand a catalog of accessible, quick-session games for crypto-native audiences. Additional releases and partnerships are planned for 2026 as the publisher continues building its Casual Degen portfolio.
YGG Continues to Scale
The reveal follows YGG Play’s broader effort to scale its casual lineup. Earlier this year, LOL Land passed 4.5 million dollars in lifetime revenue after launching in May 2025, driven by steady daily activity and later by the introduction of its $LOL token on YGG Play Launchpad. That title became one of the year’s more visible Web3 casual releases, signaling the audience that newer projects like Waifu Sweeper may tap into.
YGG Play has continued to position its platform around quick-session formats and lower onboarding friction, using features such as passkey wallets and in-game earning loops designed for mobile-first audiences. Waifu Sweeper enters that same ecosystem as a logic-based alternative to the dice and tile mechanics found in LOL Land, marking another genre expansion in the catalog.
