Axie Infinity is introducing Fortune Slips as part of the evolution of Axies. These collectible assets aim to transform Axies into the first evolvable digital collectibles. Over recent weeks, Axie Infinity has gathered feedback and crafted a system to complement its range of collectible Axies.
Players with equipped collectible Axies will benefit from Fortune Slips which currently runs as an experimental reward system. This system elevates the utility and prestige of these collectibles. The experiment is exclusive to certain Lunacians, including holders of Mystics, Summers, Origins, and more. Axie Infinity’s goal is to familiarize Lunacians with the advantages of acquiring and owning these collectible assets.
Utility of Fortune Slips
While Fortune Slips won’t heavily impact the upcoming release of Axie part evolutions, they will serve in various utility roles soon. Holders of collectible Axies can submit Atia’s Blessing through the Shrine on the App to receive varying amounts of Fortune Slips. The collectible’s rarity is directly linked to the amount of Fortune Slips. All on-chain rewards in Fortune Slips can be redeemed via the Garuda Shrine Shop, located in Garuda Grove, likely to become a significant landmark in Axie’s lore.
To receive rewards, players must submit Atia’s Blessing via the Shrine and hold collectibles in their wallets without unlisting them within three days to qualify. Players need to claim their Fortune Slips daily as there’s no rollover to the next day. Here’s a breakdown of how different Axies will be rewarded based on their rarity:
