The largest Annual European Gathering Ethereum community has announced an alliance involving PlayWay, GameSwift, and Polygon. The trio is preparing to unleash OuterLife as their way to enter the web3 gaming world.
PlayWay has achieved a wide range of milestones including $782,608,696 of capitalization in 2021, sold over 100M games, gained about 20M active gamers, added over 200 subsidiary Gaming Studios, and attracted 8M gamers on Steam. Web3 Firms Speak on OuterLife
Paweł Łaskarzewski, COO at OuterLife stated: “Blockchain technology has the ability to provide new and engaging enhancements to tried and tested gaming models that have worked over the years, allowing players to get close to the game more than ever.”
Talking about the partnership, Wojciech Gruszka, the CEO of GameSwift using his Twitter handle known as “Pan Paragraf” said, “With OuterLife, character developments and upgrades in one game simulator will also have an impact in another – creating a truly interconnected digital reality with the power of blockchain.”
The new game experience will help existing and new developers within PlayWay’s ecosystem, enhancing easier connectivity of their games to a world of interconnected digital reality by an SDK. Players can enhance statistics, acquire in-game items as non-fungible tokens, and establish interconnected gaming simulations.
While Gaming continues to be a major gateway to web3 adoption, Urvit Goel, Vice President, Head of Global Business Development at Polygon Labs commented “When leading game companies like PlayWay and GameSwift join forces to establish the groundwork for Web3 gaming infrastructure, and with the market-leading advancements in zero knowledge technology being developed at Polygon Labs, the future of gaming holds tremendous potential”
OuterLife will be integrated with zkEVM on Polygon, the platform will deliver a scalable, efficient, and secure all-in-one simulation gaming platform. The gaming title will enjoy the following benefits from zkEVM: scalability, compatibility, and cost efficiency.
