Gala Games has just announced that their live battle royale game, GRIT, featuring generative NFT Gunslingers, is now entering an open playtest phase. Accessible through the Epic Games platform and free to play, the playtest is available to everyone, allowing players to dive into the exciting world of GRIT and experience NFT integration firsthand.
GRIT Playtest Now Open
In a recent announcement, Gala Games revealed that the ongoing GRIT Playtest is now open and free. To participate in the GRIT playtest, players can download the game on the Epic Games platform.
Gunslinger Character NFTs
In GRIT, players have the chance to utilize their generative NFT Gunslingers, unique digital characters created through a combination of different attributes, such as appearance and clothing. These one-of-a-kind Gunslingers can be collected, used in the game, and even traded on various platforms, adding value and diversity to the player’s experience.
If you don’t have a Gunslinger Box, you can purchase one from the Gala Games store or find one in the secondary market at OpenSea.
Playing GRIT and Progression
This early release provides a sneak peek into the full version of the game, which is still in development. As players progress through the game by defeating outlaws and completing objectives, they can level up their Gunslinger characters. However, it’s essential to note that progression may be partially or fully reset following the May Mayhem early release period. While players can enjoy the playtest and level up their characters, earning rewards for playing is not yet available.
