Illuvium, a prominent web3 gaming studio, has concluded its Series A Funding Round, raising $12M from various top angels and venture capitalist companies. The gaming studio intends to utilize the funding to expand game offerings and enhance player experiences.
Participating in the Illuvium Series A Funding Round were over a dozen institutions, including Arrington Capital, King River Capital, Animoca Brands, The Spartan Group, Golden Chain, Arca, Selini Capital, Laser Digital, Polygon Ventures, 32-Bit Ventures, Yield Guild Games (YGG), N8 Capital, and First VIP.
Meanwhile, Illuvium is gearing up to host its Private Beta 4 (PB4) and Open Beta Testnet as major events for Q2 2024. These events will provide a platform for players to engage in play tests, hunt bugs, and earn airdrop points.
Players can commence pre-registration for early access to Private Beta 4 from April 18th to 30th, 2024. Early participation enables players to accumulate Airdrop points. The Private Beta 4 Test will run from April 30th to May 28th, 2024, with Illuvium selecting a few players to partake in the Testnet session.
Following PB4, the Open Beta Testnet will commence on May 28th, allowing every player to access the game via the Epic Games Store launcher to earn airdrop points. However, the team has yet to announce the end date of the Open Beta.
Upon completion of the Testnet phase, the team will conduct post-stress tests and final adjustments before approving the launch of the Mainnet. Players can accumulate Airdrop points throughout the Private Beta 4 and Open Beta Testnet phases.
Illuvium Roadmap
Illuvium has outlined a comprehensive roadmap extending until 2025. The studio aims to complete Epoch 9 and initiate the Epoch 10 election in Q3 2024. Additionally, plans are in place to implement new game design and Staking V3-Layer 2 in Q4 2024. Illuvium aims to introduce the Illuvium Arena–Mobile in early 2025.
